National Nuc Spring 2026 - preorder
Our nucs are all breed here in north Devon headed with our own Buckfast queens which have been chosen for their good temperament and honey production.
£50 deposit is non refundable. Full price is £295. Remaining £245 balance payable on collection.
National nucs are supplied on 5 frames in cortex or cardboard travel boxes. There is an option for nuc to be in second hand poly nuc - please enquire.
We do not post our nucs. collection is from West Buckland, North Devon. We will contact you nearer the collection date, spring nucs will be available from June.
Who we are
North Devon Queens was set up in 2021 by Kacper and Matt who are both passionate about bees and beekeeping.
Our goal is to produce the finest quality British bred Queens, Nucs and honey in an environmentally considerate way from our base near South Molton in North Devon.
Between us we have over 16 years of raising bees and beekeeping, both in the UK and across Europe and we are members of the British Bee Farmers Association.
We produce Queens and Nucs for both the commerical and hobby beekeeping market and are able to ship our Queens throughout the country.
In 2024 our honey was awarded Three Gold Stars at the prestigious Taste of the West awards which recognise exceptional locally produced produce in the South West. We can often be found selling our honey at local Farmers Markets or online via our shop.
